A shepherd has called on his council for help after a pack of wild dogs killed 25 of his sheep yesterday. This follows a similar incident when 40 sheep were killed.
51 year old Nevzat Cemsal is asking for the council to help after wild dogs forced their way into his sheep pens again. He is reliant on his sheep for his living and is suffering financially because he bought the sheep with a bank loan.
He has been to see the veterinary association as well as the head of Lefke Council and the police. However they all keep passing the issue around.
