Since this morning, large parts of the TRNC have been without power. EL-SEN spokesman, Tuluy Kalyoncu has been on social media sites with a statement.
He says that from 9.35 this morning around half of the TRNC will be without electricity. The private electricity company AKSA Energy has withdrawn electricity distribution. This was done because Kib-Tek currently owes them 85,000,000 TL in unpaid bills for electricity supply.
KIB-TEK will be diverting its own electricity supplies to the areas affected, though this may take several hours to happen.
