The ‘Turkish Cypriot Culture and Arts Festival’ is set to take place in London on Sunday, 10 June. London has the highest population of Turkish Cypriots outside of Cyprus.
Minister of Education and Culture Fikri Ataoglu is expected to participate in the festival which will be held at the Lee Valley Athletics Centre (61 Meridian Way, London, N9 0AR) between 12 – 8pm.
The Lefkoşa Folklore Association will give a display of folk dancing and there will be Turkish music. Traditional handicrafts and food will be exhibited and sold and there will be fun games for the children.
