The Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry (KTSO) signed a cooperation protocol agreement with the National Chamber of Industry and Trade of Kenya.
The agreement was signed in Ankara within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Conference between Turkey and African countries. The conference was organised by the Turkish Industrialist and Businesswomen’s Confederation (SANKON).
The protocol intends to develop cooperation between the two chambers and to develop trade ties between them. Also, within the framework of the protocol, a delegation of the KTSO will carry out a visit in Kenya in 2018, in order to discuss their future cooperation.
Meanwhile, at the forum, the KTSO delegation met with economic organisations and companies from several African countries, such as Morocco, Cameroon, Kenya, Tanzania, south Sudan and others and discussed how Turkish Cypriot products could be promoted in those countries’ markets.
