Lusignan House museum in Nicosia being restored

The Lusignan House Museum, located inside Nicosia’s city walls is being further restored by the Department of Antiquities and Museums section of the Ministry of Tourism.

The house, dating from the 15th Century was originally opened as a museum in 1977; now it is felt that it needs further restoration and will, at the same time be extended.

It is hoped that work will be finished this year. There are plans to also use the building for social events such as cocktail receptions.
