IPC gets positive feedback in EU report

The Immovable Property Commission (IPC) has come in for some praise in a report submitted to the European Council Parliamentary Assembly.

EP Yves Pozzo di Borgo, in his report mentioned the establishment and operation of the IPC had been the cause of a decline in applications to the EU Court of Human Rights.

In the report, presented to the EU parliament in early March, the IPC was referred to as a solution for the high number of applications to ECHR saying that “thanks to IPC the applications and cases that ECHR had to deal with were decreased”.
