Flooding possible – Met. Office warns

The Met. Office has issued a warning about heavy showers that are expected to grip the country this weekend.
The department warned everyone to take precautionary measures against the heavy rains.
According to the statement released by the Met. Office, taking into account the amount of rain and thundery showers in the last couple of days, the amount of rain expected in all areas has increased and there could be flooding in certain areas.
The rainy weather conditions are expected to last until the end of the month.
