The European Commission launched a € 5 million call for proposals to encourage competitiveness in the Turkish Cypriot community.
European Commission Representative in Cyprus Political Affairs Press Counsel Kezan Akansoy noted that this EU-funded grant programme aims to improve and expand employment opportunities through financial growth and financial support for small and medium-sized businesses, groups of companies and business support organisations in the Turkish Cypriot community.
Akansoy said that the selected projects will receive grant support between 100 thousand and 250 thousand euros and that the final delivery date for the Concept Notes is 12:00 hours on 8 June Brussels time.
Akansoy also stated that informative meetings on the call for proposals were held in April.
