Crisis Desk Set up after AtlasGlobal Suspends Flights

North Cyprus News - AtlasGlobal AircraftFears that the sudden suspension of AtlasGlobal flights could hit the North Cyprus tourism industry and drive up air fares have prompted the government to set up a crisis desk to ensure that the impact would be minimal, Public Works and Transport Minister Tolga Atakan announced in parliament on Monday.

He said officials had been in contact with the three other airlines that use Ercan Airport – Pegasus, Turkish Airlines and Anadolu Jet to ask them to provide extra seat capacity to make up for the cancelled AtlasGlobal flights, a request that was “viewed positively by the airlines concerned”.

The necessary announcement will be made in due course concerning AtlasGlobal. We are monitoring the issue closely”, the transport minister said.

In November the company made the following announcement:

Dear Passengers,

All procedures regarding involuntary change and/or refund will be announced on 16th of December 2019, on our website. Please contact [email protected] with your PNR and flight information should you have any further inquiries and questions.
