Cost of Living in August Up by 8.42 Percent

The cost of living went up by 8.42 percent last month.

According to a statement issued by the the Undersecretary for the State Planning Organisation, a rise in prices of 555 goods was recorded in August.

The highest price rise was recorded in the main group of Furniture, Home Appliances and Home Care Products.

The sharpest price drop was recorded in the main group of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco.
