The crowd control vehicle (TOMA) ordered in secret by the previous UBP government was discussed in parliament yesterday.
Its commissioning was highly controversial and the subject of criticism by many, thus the present coalition government decided to cancel the order.
Prime Minister Yorgancioglu revealed, for the first time, the cost of cancelling the vehicle delivery. He said that there was a cost for cancelling the contract and that this amounted to 370,000 euros.
However the PM stressed that he was currently in negotiations to have this amount reduced.
