It looks like we are heading into autumn and seeing the end of the blistering heat. The Meteorological Office has said that temperatures on the coast will reach a maximum of 34°C inland, 31°C on the coast and 25°C in the mountains.
The weather should be mainly fine with skies becoming increasingly overcast towards the afternoon and evening.
There is a possibility of isolated showers and even storms, mainly in the Troodos Mountains today, but they are more likely to arrive tomorrow and at the weekend, when the rains arrives inland.
Temperatures are also expected to fall slightly.
