Investigations regarding the people who appear to be linked with the FETO organisation continue in the TRNC, Turkish Cypriot daily ‘Kibris’ reports. The newspaper notes that the TRNC business sector is worried about reports that Turkish Cypriot businessmen are included in a list of 300 people who are alleged to be members of FETO.
The chairman of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO) Fikri Toros (main photo) stated that they have not been informed about the issue and they get related information about businessmen’s involvement with FETO from the press. He also said that he is refraining from making any statements or assessments until he has confirmation about the reports.
Chairman of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Artisans and Craftsmen (KTEZO) Mahmur Kanber stated that the state must determine who is linked with FETO so that innocent people are not accused.
The chairman of the Businessmen Association (ISAD) Dengiz Kursat said that no one should be under suspicion and the truth must come to light.
