The 2nd Turkish Cypriot Culture Day event was held in Hungary’s capital city, Budapest with an exhibition titled ‘The Miracle of Kozan’.

The 2nd Turkish Cypriot Culture Day event was held in Hungary’s capital city, Budapest with an exhibition titled ‘The Miracle of Kozan’.

Wife of the Turkish Ambassador to Budapest Oya Ertugruloglu, and the wife of the Turkish Cypriot Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertugruloglu, and a large number of foreign mission chiefs attended the opening of the exhibition at the Pinter Galeria which was organised by the TRNC’s Budapest Representative.

TRNC Representative in Budapest Selda Çimen, in his opening speech, said that the TRNC Office in Budapest had been open for three years and during this time he has been working to develop commercial, cultural, sports and educational relations between the TRNC and Hungary as well as fulfilling his representation duties.

Çimen said that they have also taken action to contribute to the promotion of the TRNC and that the ‘Miracle of Kozan’ exhibition was produced by the TRNC to this end.

In order to promote TRNC culture, Turkish cuisine was also offered to the invited guests. The exhibition remains open until 15th September.
