Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertugruloglu is attending a series of meetings in the Gulf countries.
The Foreign Minister, who completed his contacts in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah is now holding official contacts in the Sultanate of Oman.
He also visited the Turkish Embassy in Muscat where he met with the Turkish Ambassador to Oman Atilay Ersan.
During the meeting, Ertugruloglu and Ersan discussed ways to further develop the TRNC’s activities in Oman and to promote the TRNC in the country, especially in the fields of tourism, trade and higher education.
Foreign Minister Ertugruloglu also attended a dinner given in his honour by the Turkish Ambassador.
Within the framework of his contacts he also paid a visit to the TRNC Representation Office in Muscat where he received information about the work carried out by the office.
Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Mustafa Lakadamyali met with the Omani Industry and Trade Ministry Undersecretary Ahmet Al Dheeb in Muscat.
During the meeting, the two men discussed ways to further develop relations and cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade and tourism.
