British Airways doubles summer flights to Heathrow

British Airways will double its number of daily flights from Larnaca to London Heathrow from 7 to 14 per week, the airline has announced.

Economy fares start at 238 euros (£190) return fare and one way ticket beginning at 104 euros (£83) inclusive of taxes and service fee.

The changes are already in force. BA said a key feature for the route a more attractive economy return fare starting from €238 as well as its one-way fare starting from €104 both inclusive of taxes, plus service fee.

The daily departures from Larnaca are at 9.30am and 2.50pm, arriving at 2pm and 5.25pm respectively.

Return flights are at 7.10am and 11.45am, arriving in Larnaca at 2pm and 6.15pm respectively.

“London remains high on the list of travel destinations for Cypriots, both for business and for pleasure. Our enhanced schedule offers travellers from Cyprus numerous opportunities to take a break to one of the most vibrant cities in the world, home to well-known landmarks, endless shopping, and an exciting arts and theatre community. The additional flights and our new economy fares also allow customers to combine their travel arrangements to London with a multitude of other locations,” said Freddie Stier, Commercial Manager of British Airways Cyprus and Greece.

In the meantime, BA’s flight schedule from Paphos to London Gatwick of five flights per week, resumed on 27 March 2016. There are now 19 BA flights to and from the island every week.
